If you are looking to cook meat or things on high heat, cast iron is a great choice. These pans are an amazing price point with the longest life span. These picks are perfect for searing, frying, baking, or even grilling. These pans distribute heat evenly and are oven-safe.
A dutch oven is a must if you are a fan of short ribs or want to make fresh sourdough. I love making fresh bread every week in this, and I think my family is a real fan of it as well.
This Lodge 10.5″ pan comes pre-seasoned, the most important thing when picking a cast iron frying pan.
I also love a cast iron grill, helps create a backyard grill look and taste even in the colder months or if you are in a rush.
STAINLESS STEEL:
Stainless steel is a professional chef’s favorite. They have the best durability and can withstand high temperatures. These are what are used in almost every restaurant and can help create the going out experience at home. Just be sure to do some research on how to properly clean and maintain them.
I love this Martha Stewart collection, it is a great price for quality. Anything she creates always lasts and creates a fantastic meal.
This set of two Amazon Basics stainless steel pans are perfect if you need something simple and easy for your kitchen. They have amazing reviews, and you cannot beat the price.
COPPER PANS:
Copper pans offer excellent heat conductivity, allowing for precise temperature control. They’re often lined with stainless steel or tin to prevent reactivity with acidic foods. I also love how they look decorated in a kitchen!
CARBON STEEL PAN:
Similar to cast iron but lighter, carbon steel pans are excellent conductors of heat and are perfect for high-heat cooking methods like searing and stir-frying. The price is that of match with a cast iron pan.
CERAMIC PANS:
Ceramic-coated pans are non-stick and free from harmful chemicals like PFOA and PTFE. They’re a popular choice for health-conscious cooks. Our favorite brand is Our Place, you probably have seen me post about them before! I love how they look decorated in our kitchen. They truly can get the job done for ANY kind of meal.
Also another favorite of ours is GreenPan set. I love how neutral and basic this set is, along with it being a high quality product.
NON-STICK PANS:
The most popular choice you will see on the market these days. These pans are coated with a non-stick surface, usually made of Teflon or ceramic. They are perfect if you want delicate foods like eggs or fish.
I love this set from Amazon, I have seen the best reviews. This set is great if you are trying to save space because you can use the remove-able handle on each pot and pan.
