Nat here! If you missed my announcement on our Instagram, I’m so thrilled to share that my husband and I are expecting our very first child, a baby boy, early this coming summer.
We’re so thrilled to be entering this next chapter of life, and I’ve been so thankful for the outpouring of love and support from our friends, family, and followers during this time.
Prepping for baby #1 means shopping for a lot of health and safety focused items – diapers, medical accessories, car seats, etc – but the wants, more stylish and lighthearted in nature, are a blast to scour the internet for too. I recently placed a huge order for some great baby boy basics from BabyGap, which is having a 40% off sale at the time of my posting. Here are a few of the sweet finds I’m building baby’s closet up with!
If you’ve followed us for a while and you’re familiar with my collages, you know I LOVE a blue and white moment. Shopping for my baby boy has been a dream come true in that department – you can’t go wrong with a whole slew of baby blue hues, especially for a bundle of joy arriving at the beginning of summertime! This little outfit caught my eye immediately – the embroidered teddy bear on the polo paired with the gingham shorts is the perfect combination. How precious!
I’ve had to remind myself during this process that I need to shop long term – meaning, more than just summer clothes for a newborn… I should have a good stockpile for fall and winter, too! This rugby shirt is so sweet and will be perfect for a long sleeve layer during the cooler months of the year.
Similarly, while I’m not sure if we’ll have many opportunities for splashing around in the summertime, my extended family lives in Florida, so I snagged this swim set for our trip to see them around the holidays. Whether we’re floating together at the pool or sitting in the sand, this little rash guard + hat set will be a great warm-weather option!
In preparation for a lot of slow days spent at home together, I got this 3-pack body suit in 0-3m and 3-6m as well. Perfect basics for everyday and a great price point – currently $25 for each set of 3!
I couldn’t resist this little diaper cover when I was scrolling through the sale site. The stripes make it cute enough, but the embroidered teddy bear sends it into sweetness overdrive. Currently $10 on deal – I added it to my cart immediately!
